Naturally, post-contest, we've returned to our regular irregular schedule of Journal updates, as you can see . . .

For those of you contest entrants who want a copy of the GMB book, please note me with your address and I'll send one out--autographed if you like (even though, unlike Rula Lenska, I am in no way famous) , note me when you can and let me know what you'd like me to draw for you.

Been trying out some new ideas for pics and trying to get back to a more guerrilla drawing attitude lately. By which I mean rather than sit down at the drawing table and draw, I've been trying to be more spontaneous and whip out a sheet of paper and make something happen on the spur of the moment.

The results have been promising-ish--absent some of my tools, they're a little rougher and wonky, but it's good to get back in the swim of things. I've been revisiting some thing not often seen (and yet curiously popular among my casual visitors) and, should all go according to plan, some folks may see a surprise or two crop up in my gallery soonish. Intrigued?

As always, time will tell and we shall see.
